Mikasa Teams - Middle School

Mikasa teams are considered by athletes who are looking to train and compete at the highest level in club, and aspire to play in college.

· Mikasa teams typically practice from 8 to 10 times per month.

· Mikasa teams compete in all of the regional events, as well as the SCVA Junior Olympic Qualifier.

· High school Mikasa teams will have 21 competition days

· Mikasa teams may use a paid assistant coach.

· All players accepting spots on elite teams will also compete in the Junior Olympic Championships taking place in Dallas, TX.

· Mikasa teams may compete in additional (out of region) Junior Olympic qualifiers.  The additional cost of these out of region qualifiers is not estimated here.

· An SCVA schedule can be found at SCVAvolleyball.org by clicking on “Juniors”, then “Boys” and then clicking on “Schedule”.

· The Mikasa Team season begins in mid-September and ends around the first week of July (the exact date will vary according to age group and will be established by USA Volleyball in March).
